WORK EXPERIENCE

Effective handling of emergency situations / Management of ROV team in such situations

• Accident reporting
• Lead Tool Box Talks
• Effective use of a safety management system
• Ensure safe, cost effective and timely execution of the work to meet the client's schedule
• The ROV Supervisor will act under instructions from the Barge Engineer, Vessel Superintendent, or Client.
• The ROV Supervisor is shall be responsible for running one of the shifts, which this normally opposite to the Senior ROV Pilot Technician
• At the end of the ROV Supervisor's shift he will report to the oncoming Senior ROV pilot Technician of past operations so as the oncoming shift are fully aware of current and planned tasks to assist in the control of an effective Planned Preventative Maintenance program.
• Training/assessing of ROV Pilot/ Technician Grades I and II and Senior ROV Pilot/Technician
• Keeping records up to date
• Interface with Client
• Preparation of formal procedures
• ROV Dive Planning

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years’ experience minimum on Saab Seaeye ROVs
• Experience as Senior ROV Pilot/Technician Grade and satisfactorily completed all ROV Senior Pilot/ Technician’s competencies
• Nominally 180 days as ROV Senior Pilot/Technician with satisfactorily completed company assessments
• IMCA logbook – with appropriate entries and satisfactorily completed company assessments
• Proven skills in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Electrics, and Electronics
• Thorough understanding of underwater operations and survey sensors and other equipment
• Experience in ROV Support in Offshore Construction Projects
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations
• Competent with Excel, Word, and Powerpoint packages

OFFSHORE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• HUET or BOISET
• Offshore Medical
