Scope of work

• Ensures that the required diving and survival equipment is in good and safe operating condition
• If a decompression problem occurs he will become a tender and assistant in the decompression chamber to the patient and also liaise with a certified diving doctor.
• He is also in charge of the diving medicine and equipment on board the vessel but only for the dive team

SKILLS & BACKGROUND

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in offshore oil field as DMT and Technician Diver
• The ability to work in dark waters
• Working knowledge of operating diving equipment
• Knowledgeable of IMCA international Codes of Practice and work standards
• Stamped and signed dive log book
• Experience in J-Tube installation, Riser clamp installation, Risers installation , sleepers installation, Pipe laying activities, Stinger check, Jacket installation, on board construction barges OR DP vessels.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of IMCA legislation/ guidelines awareness. Equipment training courses
• Safety, emergency procedures, preventive maintenance, breakdown situations, administration

CERTIFICATIONS

• BST/HUET or BOSIET
• Valid medical certificate (IMCA DMT)
• BLS/First Aid certification
