Scope of work
Under the authority of his/her Hierarchical Manager, is responsible for the maintenance of diving equipment. His/her role and responsibilities are in accordance with IMCA guidance note IMCA D 001 & D 014 and D023.
- Is responsible for the diving equipment maintenance, testing, repairs and recertification according to IMCA guidelines and Company procedures.
- Is responsible for diving store stock management, spare and consumables restocking, ordering equipment, documenting and processing.
- Liaises with the Dive Technician on diving work site (when applicable), liaises and reports on a daily basis about his/her activities to his/her Hierarchical Manager.
- Prepares the equipment prior to the operations.
- Is responsible for the mobilization and the demobilization of diving spreads.
- Prepares IMCA audits D023 and D040.
- Manages activities performed by Technician Assistant(s).
- Provides reports and documenting equipment certificates.
- Uses the IT tools to report his/her job maintenance and up-date the PMS.
- Manages the Yard installation job or routine activities with the Maintenance Technician(s).
- Checks out and sign the work permit at the yard with the HSE Officer.
- Supervise all maintenance items of the yard.
- Provides weekly tasks.

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Practical and safe working experience on diving equipment
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Knowledge of IMCA legislation/ guidelines awareness. Equipment training courses
- Safety, emergency procedures, preventive maintenance, breakdown situations, administration
CERTIFICATIONS
- BST/HUET or BOSIET
- Hyperbaric Medical Certificate of fitness
- Class 2 mention A diving Certificate
- Kirby Morgan Certification
